Zion National Park

Posted on

Something I love about National Parks is the international crowd they attract. It seemed like every time we walked by a group of people they were speaking a different language than English. A nice couple from Spain took a picture for us by the river : )

I hope we get to come back to this park some day! There is a hike called the Narrows that goes through the gorge (the trail is literally the river) and it seems like an incredible adventure! We didn’t have the right equipment with us (or the time) or we would have gone.

Zion National Park is much more beautiful than I expected. The colors and grandeur of the mountains are worth the trip. We only had time for two short hikes so we chose one on the bottom of the canyon and one that took us up high for a bigger view.

All of the massive mountain rocks are beautiful but the bright colors we found in the sandstone walls between two mountains on the Angel’s Landing hike were our favorite.
