I’m Melanie, he is Lucas, and the little ones are Tennyson (oldest) and Murphy (youngest). Lucas and I met in elementary school, became friends in middle school, fell in love in high school, and got married in college. We grew up in Northern California, went to school in Utah, and we’ve lived in Portland, Oregon since 2014 but we like to explore all over the world. Both Tennyson (2019) and Murphy (2021) were born here so they are true Oregonians. Since they’ve arrived our travels have significantly decreased but the trips will pick back up once the kids get a little bigger.
We use our free time to do what we love – travel, remodel our house, go rafting, chase whatever is in season (flowers & fruit), and explore laid back hikes.
So far this journey has been an outstanding adventure. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
