We took Tennyson out on the river before his 1st birthday so it felt like tradition to get Murphy on the river before her first birthday too 🙂 It was a short but beautiful float on the Clackamas River.
Murphy is much smaller (mainly height wise) at this age than Tenny was so the life jacket is more cumbersome for her to move around in. She loved being on the boat but she hated wearing the life jacket. She could barely hold her hands together in front of her belly because her arms aren’t long enough to reach around the thick life jacket.
We’re excited for next summer when the kids are bigger, life jackets fit better, and they require less holding in the boat. I think the experience will be more fun for everyone 🙂
