Lee’s Pumpkin Patch

Posted on

General Conference weekend is one of my favorites because we stay in our leggings as long as possible, listen to good talks and eat snacks. Normally food is not allowed anywhere near our bed, but for conference weekend we made an exception for Captain Crunch. On Sunday we made aebleskivers in between sessions but I forgot to take a picture. You’ll have to just believe me when I say they were delicious!IMG_0338_1

In between sessions of conference on Saturday we met up with some friends at Lee’s Farm to run around their pumpkin patch. I mostly went for the caramel apples and pumpkin doughnuts but loved the whole place. Lee’s Farm is in Tualatin, just 10-15 min south of downtown Portland. The farm does u-pick berries and apples when they are in season but their most popular time of year is October for the fall festivities. This place is fun for all ages but mostly catered to kids… so we didn’t stay long. Just long enough to get some treats!

Tip for any locals… if you just want some treats but don’t want to fight the parking, there are some 15-minute parking spots right out front of the barn where the treat and decor shop is : ) IMG_4927_1Nobody liked the warty “textured” pumpkins except for me…IMG_4923_1
