Just south of where we live there is a little farming town called Canby where there is an annual dahlia festival. Although the festival consists mostly of walking on small paths around a field of flowers it is one of my favorite events of the year. It is amazing how many different kinds of dahlias there are! I’m already looking forward to next September!
